I really felt this, Michelle 🤍 I agree that sometimes it's not the big betrayals that fracture self-trust... it's the hundreds of tiny moments where we find ourselves constantly overriding what our body already knows. Every time we ignore exhaustion, silence a boundary, or abandon our own needs, we teach ourselves that our inner signals aren't safe to follow. The beautiful part is that healing often happens the same way, through hundreds of tiny moments of listening instead.
I'm so glad that you felt this! Healing does involve the same process: listening to ourselves rather than ignoring the signals. I hope you find some gentle moments this week to tune into your body.
Thank you for sharing this, Michelle. It so eloquently describes the things that I find can pull me away from myself as I'm building my own self-trust. I appreciate the gentle nudge back to centre, thank you!
This is a lovely article, Michelle. Just last week, the question popped in my head: when did I stop trusting myself? I sense there's an article waiting to be written!

It can be easy to lose our way. I'm glad you are finding your center and building your self-trust.
